underwater soundscapes of urban rivers

Underwater soundscapes are an area of growing interest; however, the acoustic environments of urban rivers—often surrounded and embedded within extensive infrastructural systems—are largely underexplored. This project investigates the characteristics of underwater urban soundscapes, their relationship to both aquatic life and urban infrastructure, and the potential of underwater sound as an indicator of environmental change.
